The Texas Senate and I have been working with the House to ban THC in Texas. Since May, the Texas Senate has taken bold action to protect our communities. Texas will not become California or Colorado; regulation is legalization. We must ban all THC products. CBD and CBG will continue to be legal. Texans expect action—and the Senate will continue delivering until SB 6 becomes law. #txlege

Watch my latest video. We cannot in good conscience leave Austin without banning THC, which is harming our children, and destroying Texans’ lives and families. #txlege

I participated in the reading of the Proclamation against child abuse for Uvalde County. Prosecuting cases against child abuse is a priority for my office. We work hard to achieve justice for our most vulnerable victims in Real and Uvalde County.

I enjoyed being at the State Capital today in support of the BPU presentation with DPS Texas Highway Patrol in support of Operation Lone Star. The Border Prosecution Unit and DPS under Operation Lone Star are the front line defenders in the border security for our state.
