Life is a series of choices. Law Enforcement Officers perform enforcement duties in accordance with laws of a specific jurisdiction. They’re not just on the streets committing random acts of their personal whims. I don’t know of city, state, or nation where interfering with them in performance of their duties isn’t a violation of the law. When you choose to violate those laws, there will be consequences. The severity and magnitude of the consequences will vary. You made an unwise decision, and now you will need to live with your choice. It’s a hard lesson, but it was YOUR decision to place yourself in a dangerous situation. Hopefully, you learned to make wiser choices in the future.
