Cleveland Charge General Manager Liron Fanan has been named the 2025-26 NBA G League Basketball Executive of the Year, as selected by NBA G League team basketball executives. Fanan is the first woman and the second Charge executive to win the award, joining Mike Gansey of the Canton Charge in 2016-17. Under Fanan, Cleveland finished with a 23-13 record to earn the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference for the NBA G League Playoffs presented by Google, where the Charge will host the Capital City Go-Go on April 1 at 7:30 p.m. ET on Samsung TV Plus. FIFA expanded the World Cup from 32 to 48 teams. UEFA, where Italy and Denmark play, took the biggest share with 16 slots. Haiti and Curaçao are from CONCACAF, not Europe, and they earned their places by competing in qualification and taking advantage of the expanded field. The World Cup is not an entitlement cup. Nobody gets in by reputation alone. Everyone has to earn it. Including Italy and Denmark.
