You have options in your visualizations. You can start with how you would like to feel and then switch into what you would like to have and who you would like to be with or you can start with what you would like to have and who you like to be with and then ask how you would feel.

I actually did try to help an unhoused individual years ago. In hindsight, it was a mistake. He was ungrateful and displayed an attitude of entitlement. In my opinion, all I did was enable his addiction rather than support him. I made a mistake. If the difference between enabling someone and helping someone is obvious to you, then I envy you. However, this certainly is not the case for me.

@8Frei Real need is obvious. If you aren't seeing it. You could go look in a new area or try to watch for signs in areas poor people frequent. Sometimes life takes all the wind out of your sails and without hope it hurts. Look for those people

All may not be well in the physical world, but all CAN be well in the mental world, so long as you choose to make it such.

You should not force yourself to try to enjoy a person, just as you would not force yourself to enjoy a food.

You can change the past, because you can control the mental world and memory is in the mental world.

There are a lot of people who are not safe to be friends with. Not just unsafe in the physical sense, but unsafe, emotionally. Opening up to someone and then making them mock you is just devastating. Do not view safety as being something that is solely about a physical state; view safety as being about your emotional state, as well. It is very common for people to physically harm themselves or others to try to relieve themselves from the emotional state that they are in. Your emotional state is highly important, as is your physical state. Neither of the two should ever be disregarded.

You do not have to be in the physical world. You can choose to be in the mental world.

You imagine, not to control the planet, but to enter another planet.

There are so many things in the physical world which you have no ability to change and yet, there are so many things in the mental world which you have so many things that you have the ability to change.

The physical world is a world that exists, over which you have very little control. The mental world is a world that exists, just as much as the physical world exists, if not moreso, over which you have a great deal of control.

Softness is choosing thoughts that align with how you feel. Strength is choosing thoughts that are contrary to how you feel. Initially, this tweet started off with the word "weakness", but that word has a connotation, so I picked a student word. Plus, "softness" and "strength" are alliterations and alliterations are always sexy.

You have power when you think in terms of the way you focus. You do not have power when you think in terms of the way you feel. The way you feel is automatic, whereas where you focus is deliberate.

The lack of love is what angers you. But even though there are some environments out there that are without love, there are no environments that are without power. Because, in any state that you are in, regardless of whether it is a physical, virtual or emotional state, you can always focus. Focus never requires a condition. Focus only ever requires attention.

Having a sense of power is different from having the degree of power that you want.

You would like external control, but the only control you have is over yourself.

Other people do not have a responsibility to make you feel better. But if they do, it is a blessing. This is the very first time that I ever contemplated the difference between a "blessing" and a "responsibility". I should probably look into the etymology of these two words and see what I find.

You will never be loved by someone who is trying to control you and you can tell that they are trying to control you because they are criticizing you. So, learn to give that up.
