The Regional Workshop in Maharashtra under the “Vikasit Maharashtra 2047” initiative commenced with a grand opening at YASHADA, Pune 🇮🇳 This initiative reflects the state’s forward-looking vision to build a future-ready, progressive Maharashtra aligned with long-term development goals and stronger urban governance systems. The inaugural session was graced by distinguished dignitaries, including Hon’ble Smt. Medha Kulkarni, Rajya Sabha MP (Chief Guest), Hon’ble Mayors from key Urban Local Bodies such as Pimpri Chinchwad, Thane, Nashik, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, and Amravati, along with Hon’ble MLA Shri Chetan Tupe. Senior leadership from the All India Institute of Local Self Government, including Shri Jairaj Phatak and Shri Ravi Ranjan Guru, along with other senior officials, were also present, reaffirming institutional commitment towards capacity building and urban transformation.
