As part of her Helmholtz fellowship training, Anna is participating in the week-long Hightech Design Sprint sponsored by Future Innovators at DESY. The workshop visited Steinway & Sons in Hamburg earlier this week and they are presenting their solutions this afternoon.

COO Anna Good officially started her Helmholtz Field Study Fellowship on Feb. 1st in collaboration with DESY to develop AMB in the European market (and beyond)! For the next 3 months, she will interview potential clients to discover their greatest needs to improve their research.

@mikuehn8 and I wearing 2 hats at the @desy user meeting. Academic lecture by day, @AMBiotechTeam poster by night. We put in heavy hours in the lab lately and not posting much. But good things coming (5 papers in revision, 2 submitting soon, plus Michel's first first-Author💪👨‍🔬)

Happy USA NIH grant deadline day for all who observe! @AMBiotechTeam just submitted an SBIR to NIGMS #SAXS @BrookhavenLab (with support from @sp_harris1) and another SBIR with Filamentech Inc to NHLBI (#DrugDiscovery #Heart). Big shoutout to @KhoiD_Nguyen for some heavy lifting!

We did trial experiments with mouse psoas muscles at the PO3 beamline, which has an incredible 10-meter flight tube, and had a very successful beamline run this time around. We’re looking forward to the future of muscle science at DESY and hope for more beamline runs to come!

AMB had a great run at the DESY synchrotron this past week in Hamburg, DE. We’d like to give a special thanks in particular to the folks at DESY and the StartUp Village for their assistance in getting things up and running.
