This week, fourteen 🇫🇷🇺🇸 wounded warriors donned elegant and eco-friendly fashion to walk the catwalk at the Embassy. The show was the headliner of an evening honoring the recovery and self-expression of those who have given everything for our two nations.

Today, the US Department of Education hosted the National Blue Ribbon Awards Ceremony, where Williamsburg MS officially received its award. They are 1 of 10 schools in VA to win the award this year & the only middle school in VA to win the award this year. @usedgov @WMS_WolfPack

We are currently reviewing the model policies. I oppose any policy that infringes upon the rights of our students and threatens the safety and well-being of our LGBTQIA+ students. APS will continue to uphold our core mission and policies to ensure that every child receives equal educational access and opportunities. We fully support our transgender and LGBTQIA+ students and value the many diverse identities within our schools, where every student can authentically express themselves. As it stands now, our current PIPs in support of transgender and gender fluid students and staff remain fully in effect.
