Very poor @PharmDeclares and @FMLM_UK #NonInclusive Why are Pharmacy Technicians "being investigated"? Since 2011 it has been a legal requirement to be registered like pharmacists with @TheGPhC @APTUK1 have many members in senior leadership positions in the NHS #ShameOnYou

@PJOnline_News @the_pda Worked for 43 years as a Pharmacy Technician then pharmacist, in S10 & MHRA units, on wards & as Superintendent & Chief Pharmacist I support supervision in aseptic facilities because I have witnessed how well the safe quality systems work including clinical checks by pharmacists

#pharmacytechnicians are more than capable of running an aseptic unit and managing QMS …. working alongside authorised pharmacists (as would still be required). Yet another disappointing but not surprising example of #professionalprotectionism
