This month, AR Design Studio celebrates its 25th anniversary, marking an incredible journey that began with founder Andy Ramus working from his bedroom in a student flat in Hackney in 2000 designing furniture and loft conversions from his Hackney flat.

See how rooflights are used in our Meadow View project to flood the bathroom with natural light, casting a gentle glow across the shower area whilst simultaneously providing privacy. The dynamic quality of natural light brings a subtle yet captivating energy to the space.

Our latest project Meadow View in @thetimes AR designed a contemporary new build, but the budget didn’t allow a complete rebuild. AR took an innovative approach, transforming the house into a brand-new contemporary home—without the cost of a full replacement dwelling.

At AR we recognise that light plays a pivotal role in delineating spaces and creating a dynamic atmosphere in the home. In our client's living spaces, we maximise natural light to create a light and airy atmosphere while in transitional spaces, we can play with softer lighting.
