Everything you are witnessing has a single root. It's not geopolitics. Not resources. Not Huntington's lazy civilisational thesis. It's two refusals, ancient and unresolved, bleeding into the present. The first: the Jews could not accept that the awaited Seal of Prophethood did not descend from their race. The second: the Christians could not accept that the figure they deified was a Prophet, one who announced the coming of one greater Prophet, and that no ritual, no vicarious atonement, no symbolic cannibalism purchases salvation while sin runs uninterrupted: بَلْ يُرِيدُ الْإِنسَانُ لِيَفْجُرَ أَمَامَهُ Man desires nothing more than to keep sinning with a clear conscience. But it is the racial vanity of the first group that deserves the closest examination, because it strips all pretence away. Abu Jahl, the foremost enemy of the early Muslims, did not dispute the character of Muhammad ﷺ. He conceded it openly. When pressed on why he refused to follow a man he acknowledged as truthful, he did not reach for theology. He reached for blood: "We and the Banu Hashim competed for honour. We were neck and neck like two racehorses. Then they said: a Prophet is from among us. By Allah, how could we ever compete with them in that?" The message was not rejected because it was false. It was rejected because accepting it meant permanent defeat to a rival clan. And this was not original. It was an imitation. The template was set long before Arabia, by the first creature to choose pride over submission: أَنَا خَيْرٌ مِّنْهُ خَلَقْتَنِي مِن نَّارٍ وَخَلَقْتَهُ مِن طِينٍ "I am better than him. You created me from fire; him from clay." Satan did not deny the command. He understood it perfectly. He simply decided his origin entitled him to refuse it. The line runs clean from Satan to Abu Jahl to every modern power that cannot tolerate a divine authority originating outside its own bloodline. Everything else is branch. This is the root.

One day, we may realise that those who were brutally killed were not the defeated ones. They attained martyrdom and the highest ranks of Paradise, while our boycotts of lattes, Coke and KFC family buckets were only faint gestures of solidarity. Perhaps the true test was ours all along, not survival, but comfort. What were we willing to give up to fulfil an obligation? And could we resist the heedlessness of this dunya?

One day your child will stop asking you to tie their shoelaces, climb into your arms, or wait at the door for you like they used to. Build your life around protected presence now. Choose enough with barakah over maximum income with maximum absence.

Let's not forget: "There is plenty of space on the temple mount" for them to build their temple and for us to have Masjid AlAqsa. What are you, a backward bigot?!

Hamza Yusuf in the quiet of the night resigned from the Religious Liberty Commission, which was thoroughly exposed by @CarriePrejean1 to be nothing but a Zio organization. Once again the plebs were right and the Madkhali Quietists got it wrong. But now that the ship is burning, it’s not that much of a selfless act.

@elonmusk When my annual subscription runs out I will not renew. Because freedom of speech without freedom of reach is just censorship by a different name.

The age is now so flooded with synthetic speech that governments are preparing labels for reality itself. We are moving to a civilisation that needs watermarks to recognise the real, the crisis is no longer only technological. It is moral.
Reuters Legal@ReutersLegal

Britain plans to consider requiring labels on AI-generated content to protect consumers from disinformation and deepfakes, the government said on Wednesday, as it outlined other areas of focus to tackle the evolving global challenge. reuters.com/business/media…

People keep calling this “geopolitics,” as though states simply collide over interests. But every serious war eventually reveals a civilisation’s theology: what it worships, what it fears, and what it is willing to burn to preserve itself.
Reuters@Reuters

Iran's negotiating posture has hardened sharply since the war began, with the Revolutionary ‌Guards exerting growing influence over decision-making, and it will demand significant concessions from the United States if mediation efforts lead to serious negotiations, three senior sources in Tehran said reut.rs/4uKKuuB

Every group of people that rejects a messenger ends up exposing itself. Pharaoh looked at Prophet Musa and saw “magic,” because deception, spectacle, and control were the language of its age. The Bani Israel answered the purity of Maryam and the signs of Prophet Isa with slander and accusations. Meccans looked at Prophet Muhammad * and called him mad, a poet, a fabricator... Audhu billah! The accusation changes, but the sickness does not. A civilisation attacks revelation with the ugliest thing ruling its own heart. That is why modern anti-Islam polemic reaches so quickly for sexual accusation. This is an age drowning in scandal, exploitation, hypocrisy, and elite corruption, so even its insult to the Messenger of God * becomes a mirror. People think they are judging the Prophet, when in reality they are revealing the moral decadence of their own world. That is also why rewriting the age of Lady Aisha to 16, 17, 18, by "weakening narrations" has never really convinced the critics. The objection was never about truth to begin with. It was moral panic masquerading as principle. Once a civilisation needs the slander, removing one number will not remove the disease. The problem is not that they have found something new. The problem is that too many Muslims still think Islam must stand trial before the court of modernity. It does not. The age is sick. Its measures are sick. Its imagination is sick. Its elites traffic in corruption, then preach morality. Its institutions manufacture decadence, then demand that the Prophet * be edited to fit their collapsing standards. Muslims must stop orbiting modernity and return to the centre of the cosmos: Prophet Muhammad *. He is not to be defended by dilution, embarrassment, or apology. He is to be known, loved, obeyed, and followed. The modern world is not our qiblah. Its panic is not our criterion. Its sickness is not our scale. Let the diseased age expose itself. As for us, we should leave its trembling courtrooms, its hollow moral theatre, and its satanic self-importance, and gather again around the light of the Beloved * for that is the only place where the heart, the world, and everything else returns to its proper order. He is the Crown Jewel of Cosmos * صلى الله على حبيبه محمد وآله وسلم

@ASAinsights @wanderer3r Also the moon does have to be on the horizon. Any claimed sightings after the moon has already set is an error. So if the moon set around 5:50 pm then some villager claimed to have sighted it at 8:00 pm then they saw something else and it is rejected.

In classical fiqh, there is no discussion of “new moon conjunction” or “visibility charts” or "where it was pointing" as the basis for beginning the month. In fact, the crescent does not even have to be sighted after Maghrib. That is not a condition, at least not in the books of Maliki jurists. Rather, the issue of sighting the crescent during the day, if it is seen after zawal/Zuhr then it belongs to the following day: “فهو للآتية”. People are more interested in theatrics than they are in the actual fiqh of the classical scholars. Every year, the same arguments. Every year, the same confusion. Every year, the same collective amnesia.
