Honestly a joke. Haven't really had a bad ref all season in Europa. Yet we get forest and all of a sudden every single decision goes their way.....

@Lukeee_16 @raggs_ It's risk you run when you go in studs up, if he wins the ball and barely touches Watkins then fine. That's not the case here he's studs up on someone's ankle. Winning the ball is irrelevant he's also endangering an opponent. Digne did the same later on and it got more attention

@AVFC_Hay @raggs_ Yea I agree; which is why I think it should be reckless. He’s low in the tackle, wins the ball and it’s his follow through that he’s can’t really do much about. Tackles like that have been part of the game for many years it’s just recently they seem to be being punished

@Lukeee_16 @raggs_ So an ankle breaking injury shouldn't be a red? I agree there have been some reds but "winning/blocking" the ball doesn't give you the ability to do whatever after. A split second earlier whilst his foot is planted and Watkins ankle is snapped and it's a red.

@AVFC_Hay @raggs_ Just to clarify language here.. a reckless challenge is a yellow card as per iFab rules. However I will agree, in the prem it’s a red.. but in Europe they often go unpunished - as they should because we see a lot of red cards for challenges that shouldn’t be.
