Today, we visited Jazira Aqua Park on the coast of the Indian Ocean in the capital Mogadishu with our families. We are pleased with the new investments and increased employment opportunities thanks to the remarkable achievements in the field of security in Somalia recently. In our conversations with our Somali brothers and sisters, we talked about how much progress has been made in the last 15 years. We wholeheartedly believe that even greater achievements will be made.

The Embassy of Somalia in Ankara has filed a formal criminal complaint against Turkish social media user Umut Çağrı Sarı, citing a pattern of “misleading information, defamatory content, and politically charged commentary” targeting Somali officials and institutions. According to the filing, Sarı’s posts included fabricated claims about a Somali diplomat’s family ties and political positions regarding Somaliland.
