My phone decided that during THEE curtain call was the time to reach full storage capacity, so the end is missing- but alas.

@ronicasawyer Idk 😭 I went up to the truck they were loading props into and asked if I could quickly get a closer look at them. I just have passed the vibe check because the skeleton was just graciously gifted to me by one of the workers.

@samsscorch The truck they were packing was props for Hidgens manor. I imagine it was the first smallish thing they could responsibly give/isn’t essential and won’t be missed. Besides it’s not like I can carry a fucking backdrop home with me on the train (I would certainly try tho)

I went back to the theatre to get one last round of photos and the lovely crew let me grab a few pictures of their work. Genuinely I’m shaking, I didn’t even fucking ask for a prop they just gave it to me.

Turns out if you’re nice and pure of heart you can politely ask for things and the worst people can say is no. Shoutout the theatre staff member who gave me 4 of these.

@notyourseed I yearn for another Trail to Oregon esc musical out of Starkid but I fear they are too production focused nowadays it will never happen 😔

i think where starkid and critical role and smosh and all these youtube groups are starting to go wrong is they think that everyone wants them to constantly up their production value when in reality people started liking a lot of these things BECAUSE they are less overproduced

@inevitableforus Genuinely the most fun Hidgens we have ever had; his enjoyment is palpable from the stage. He took the word “cooky” and cranked it up to 100% - Best way to describe him is a cross between Doc Brown (BTTF) and a scooby doo character. And then make him slightly gay.

i am so so curious to see what iván's hidgens is actually like in the musical itself.. starkid release the footage please

why are people still trying to stage door for guy in london when there is a literal sign by the stage door that says the cast will not be stage dooring/doing meet & greet there you're just putting their health at risk for selfish reasons
