@Shinich08413513 @chaosisd3irdr3 A lot of metal fans (albeit older millennials and genxers) can't stomach visual kei and anything branded j-rock. Even though their last proper j-rock release was in 2005.
That's why you won't see them on Metal Archives too.

@nightswimming04 Outside of the usual bands and albums there really aren't any nu-metal deep cuts or hidden gems so the same tired bands keep getting circle jerked around which doesn't help the genres discourse.

@phanthom_cowboy Tongue-in-cheek campy black metal bands like Old Nick and e-boy shit like Kรซkht Arรคkh are much worse.
At least hipsters were trying something new with the genre, most of it fell flat to me personally was still interesting.
