I've always found the "Males don't sell" bit to be completely false because it's all just a skill issue since you have Fate/Grand Order (with peak males that reach #1 in sales and are still popular among the fandom) and HSR (if I remember Phainon put the game on top 1 as well). I can't speak much for other gacha's but the point still stands regardless
