In Malaysia, there is an art competition for a novel series which clearly states no generated AI images are allowed.
But AI sloppers decided to break that rule and submit their AI 'remastered' of the official artworks. They even asked the original artists for validation.

Controversial topic: AI. I think most artists despise AI. This is pretty much clear. But we shouldn’t treat the people who USE AI like they are also slop. They might just be uneducated on how much trouble AI causes. Can we try something like this next time, artists?
