Great team out on the doors in Newington yesterday speaking to people on Fleming Road and Forsyth Gardens #SE17 about local issues and casework we will be following up on.

We're lucky having great primary schools in Newington including Crampton #SE17 which is in the top 1% nationally. Yesterday we met teachers & governors to discuss what extra support they need to continue delivering outstanding education for children with a focus on SEND provision

Today we held our @lb_southwark cabinet in the beautifully restored Walworth Town Hall. We covered a lot of important business And launched 2 publications: @mcash Streets for People delivery plan and our Corporate Parenting annual report, which I was v proud to introduce...

Truly delighted to see my friend and former Chief Executive Eleanor Kelly awarded a much deserved CBE in tonight’s New Year’s honours. Recognition of a life working for local government, serving Southwark, London and many more beyond during the pandemic.

Nice couple of community events in and around Newington this weekend. Surrey Gardens TRA summer party yesterday followed by Kennington Park festival today.
