SaaS founders: Stop putting raw Loom recordings on your homepage.
Here’s what I keep seeing on way too many sites:
-Cursor flying at 100mph
-Slack notifications popping everywhere
-3-minute “let me just show you how this works” energy
Visitors hit the page and instantly think: “If their video looks this chaotic… how bad is the actual product?"
First impressions land in 3 seconds.
The ones crushing it swap the messy Loom for a tight 15-30 second video that shows ONE clear outcome smooth, simplified, no clutter. It feels like a promise, not a tutorial.
Most founders think “showing everything builds trust.” It doesn’t. It kills conversions.
