Production companies should be sprinting to sign Kelsey Fitzsimmons for a documentary. Her story is incredible, backed by intense, high-quality footage and audio. Anchored by her moving testimony. Culminating in a powerful "not guilty" verdict. If you agree please like so they know.

When I first moved home from college (Tampa back to NY), I worked for years at my uncle’s law firm. He was a civil rights lawyer and criminal defense for 30+ years. Literally never lost a criminal jury trial. One of the best litigators I’ve ever witnessed - on TV or in person. He was featured on 60 Minutes by Morley Safer and featured many times on the front pages of the New York Times for big cases. One thing he always reminded me of was that a lawyer is a “counselor”. Hence “Counselor at Law”. Working for him he was relentless in not only advocating for his clients but making sure we all were there for them during their difficult times. He always said that a good paralegal was worth their weight in gold. He’d joke that we were the best lawyers he knew. It was his way of showing appreciation. People don’t realize that good paralegals do the bulk of work preparing cases, making sure the attorney is ready for trial and also being there for the client. My point of this long winded post is to give credit to @CourtneyHealy29. I’ve read posts saying Kelsey’s father has credited her for helping get her through these extremely difficult times. I was gonna joke that Courtney was my #kelseyfitzsimmons trial crush (I do that for every trial just to be funny), but I wanted something more serious here. Kudos to Courtney! It’s people like you that are the unsung heroes of these cases and it looks like @BradlLawPC genuinely appreciates you. I’m not sure I’ve seen a paralegal basically sit second chair in a huge trial before. That speaks volumes for how much he respects her. So everyone, please give her the appreciation she deserves.
