@KhrazeGAMING This kind of overpowered, all-you-can-do gameplay might be fun for the first 30 minutes, but the level design is monotonous and you quickly get bored. It looks like a lazy game with no strategy. It's just like a Dynasty Warriors game.

You can stack the powers of 5-6 weapons on a single build in Crimson Desert and let's just say the results are...crazy.

@MorganLfei_XIV @OrionThirsts That said even im not sold on the game. I need a demo. $70 is an ask for a game im not even allowed to try myself. Even if the game had 90+ on Metacritic I need one.

This was never on my radar. It was the "Too good to be true" kind of game. The previews look very different from the actual game that's released and I understand that. My question is now: How good is the combat? Because for this kind of game, nothing else matters to me

@MorganLfei_XIV @OrionThirsts Basically they arent going to really push a game to its limits because they dont have the time. Because of this the gameplay might look worse than it actually is, which then doesnt appeal as much to potential buyers.

@MorganLfei_XIV @OrionThirsts They are -ok- but are just doing it for the paycheck. They gather information typically from the respective networks of those games, from gamers who do it not for the paycheck but for the love of the game. Unless its like Dark souls i just personally wait.

@AlkaiserMan @OrionThirsts Fextralife and Gameranx are pretty good at reviewing these sort of time-sink-kind-of-games, the former especially. but more importantly, I think gamers are developed enough to know what they want. When I see a game, I know if I want it right off the bat.

And yet I still wish we had a demo of sorts. problem with this type of game is, if you get a bunch of unimaginative players showcasing the game they won't come close to showing off its depth. Need someone who isnt buns to release content for this.

10$ says this guy dies because: 1. Really strong companion 2. No DLC costume from pre-order 3. Oddly close to the protagonist 4. Introduces another character who also will be oddly close to the protsgonist
