@ensdomains After ENSv2 go live, what is the migration needed (efforts and cost in case holding multiple names) for current ENS name holders ?

@GomuCrypto_eth Theoretically is correct. Key is will those NFT project able to generate enough revenue to distribute it to NFT holders. 0.05E per NFT means for a 2E floor project like moonbird team need generate 500E per month at least to achieve that. None could achieve that yet.

hey, as the creator of Sign in with Ethereum here are my thoughts 1) the company charged by ENS and EF with leading Sign in with Ethereum took the grant money and abandoned the project without even finalizing the EIP, which is why little happened with SIWE in the last few years (to their eternal shame). so a few months ago my new company @ethidorg took it over for free, got the EIP finalized, recreated all the brand assets, and have started getting integrations again --> @signinethereum 2) Login with Wallet is bland and lame, Sign in with Ethereum is an EIP auth standard that combines with ENS (for usernames and profiles) for a full auth+username+profile experience 3) "User forgets account" much less likely if they name their wallets with ENS. Also, SIWE is now been extended to have persisting sessions 4) "How to do i email them?" You can still require them to verify an email on the first login if you want 5) Much more work is needed for both SIWE development and promotion, but my company is now working on it 💪💪

This is a valid question, why havent more companies (even within crypto) implemented "log in with wallet"? At DefiLlama we've run wallet logins in production for a while and the truth is there are significant issues with them One of the biggest issues is that users forget the wallet they used to sign up, leading to this: 1. User creates account with wallet A 2. They start paying on stripe and give stripe their email 3. Later on want to cancel the subscription, they forgot how they signed up so they try to log in with the email where they received the receipts from stripe 4. Can't log in and they blame us thinking we are purposefully preventing them from canceling their subscription Even if they remember they used their wallet, they frequently forget the specific address they used Another common issue is that you want to notify users for things like "You've used 80% of your API quota" to prevent surprises, but you simply cant You can partially solve this by adding another step to sign up where you collect email and then email the address, but that sort of defeats the purpose of wallet login and it's extra work of patching things and adding extra friction IMO there's still value in wallet logins because of the extra security you can achieve vs simple email/password, but that is a niche market for apps that require high security, which is a small subset of all apps.

I am shrouded in profound sadness by the abrupt passing of Benoit Pagotto @benit0it. I have very few friends—actually, almost none. But RTFKT’s @RTFKT Benoit, whom I first met online during the pandemic, was one of the rare beings who made me think, “Ah! This person might be my friend!” From his ideas with no limits to his drive and ability to take action, he was simply unparalleled. And above all, his kindness! When my family visited Paris and my son was feeling down, Benoit kindly spent a few days with him, showing him around the city and playing games together. His compassion was truly beyond measure. ∞! Benoit! Let us meet again someday!! Because I do believe in the next world beyond!! Until then, rest in peace, my friend. 🙏

I made a bridge, but I can't walk across it. Shall I make voxels collidable outside of parcel bounds?

Hey gang - i'm setting up minting and listing of parcels for the new islands on beta. What is the best market to list new mints on? We're OG @opensea and I like the new pro interface, but maybe y'all are over on some decentralized marketplace?

You know me for my digital art, but my blood is ink. My ink art asked me for movement, that ink spoke to me visually and I listened to it, and that's where all the Visual Toys you know come from and you can see that evolution. By the way, I have never stopped drawing my works in ink, the two largest (2mX2m) are availables in Gagliardi Gallery in London, I recently sold another one on commission and now I´m trying to make my way in Korea. My work in ink and my work in cryptoart are brothers, both works are 100% connected. My collectors know this well, to whom I owe it to be able to dedicate myself 100% to art.🫂

After 6 years. Today I was able to log into my voxels account on my ipad at the cafe and explore the world. It’s taken such a long time to get here and I’m so excited for the future. 🥰
