He should just admit he’s not making money on Twitch. You can’t tell me Kai Cenat, PlaqueBoyMax, and Carter Efe aren’t cashing out on that platform.
It’s like me claiming there’s no money on X while people are pulling in millions every 2 weeks

There’s something I’ve noticed. I’m not 100% sure it’s correct, but I think there’s some truth in it.
Opportunities are with people, not necessarily on platforms.
You know how people post on LinkedIn saying they’re looking for someone for a role? Sometimes, those roles have already been given to someone. They just post for the sake of posting, to show that they actually made it public.
Then many people apply. Your email gets added to their list so you can start receiving newsletters, and later they send, “Sorry, we will not be moving forward with your application.”
Meanwhile, did they really go through it?
I’m saying this because I’ve seen that opportunities are actually with people, not just platforms.
Many times, people reach out to me on WhatsApp and say, “Oh, I’m looking for a video editor” or “I need a graphic designer.”
I’m not going to go and post on LinkedIn immediately.
I check my circle first.
Which video editor do I know? Who is available?
If I find someone, I send the opportunity to them directly. If not, I screenshot it and post it on my WhatsApp status and in less than 10 minutes, we already have someone for the job.
And then there’s you still on LinkedIn, applying and applying, while people are getting opportunities through connections.
So if I see an opportunity and I know your work and your LinkedIn looks good for it, I will just come to your DM and send it to you directly.
That’s why I’m saying: opportunities are with people.
Build with people not just platforms. Let people know who you are and what you do.
It may be sad, but in this part of the world, connection comes first before competence, I know because there was a role I was qualified for but when I got there they asked me “Who called you?, who do you know?” things like that 🥹
Now imagine when you combine connection with competence, that’s powerful.
So this is your sign to do your job well and also build real connections, so that when opportunities come, people can put you on.
If you like, depend only on platforms, you’ll gather followers but nothing to show for it.
Happy weekend!✊🏽✨
