i did find it interesting that a man letting his ex get bit by a dog, a man bullying someone so bad they moved, and a *white* woman trapping a disabled child in a closet is all laughed over, but a black woman planning to do smth wrong is chastised

the more i think about it the more the drama feels like it’s also about who gets the benefit of the doubt. who is allowed complexity, who is reduced to their worst moment, and who gets to position themselves as morally superior.
