@goalcauf Playoffs are better with Ottawa instead of Detroit honestly
English

@BrucePSmith @fnveenie They are in a wildcard spot now. They’re there to stay
English

@fnveenie Basically as good as we could hope for I guess?
I actually wanna see Ottawa in.
English

@RiseFromTheAshZ His rebound control still makes me nervous but he manages to get the wins
English

@fnveenie I have a theory about this jersey matchup. Suzuki passed it right on the tape of a Carolina player earlier in the game. I’m not saying that’s why he was that far behind the D himself though
English

@brenmidov He’s been good with Evans and texier. I’d like to keep them together, they’re getting chances just can’t score
English

@boughttherights @brenmidov Just to be clear I’m not insinuating Schenn was the one who Dobes is talking about.
I linked this video to provide why/when Suzuki was kicked out.
English

@AnalyticsGuy4 @brenmidov hmmmmmmmm inch resting
I meant wouldn't shock me if he was in on it too tbh
English

Soooo we’re all thinking about one player here right?
¹⁴ eliza@suzukicult
dobeš on the chirping during the game vs the the isles: “there was something that one player said on the other team that probably shouldn’t be said. i just told the referees, ‘please be careful, this stuff doesn’t belong to the game.’ and i told him, ‘hey, don’t act like that.’”
English

@fnveenie I was wondering the same until I seen a video on TikTok this morning, the person was recording the celebration of Cole’s 3rd goal, but at the end when they were collecting hats Schenn and Suzuki were having words and you can see the ref give them both a 10 and kick them out.
English

Didn't realize Nick was ejected. Trying to figure out how being attacked and refusing to fight in a game that's basically over warrants being removed from the game.
/r/Habs@HabsOnReddit
Since Nick Suzuki was in the dressing room after a 3rd period game misconduct Juraj Slafkovsky & Cole Caufield told Jacob Fowler to join their power of friendship Habs celly
English

@brenmidov Either way I think it’ll be an exciting but important off season
English

@AnalyticsGuy4 There’s a lot of reporting that it wasn’t Knies but I get what you mean
English

Demidov is going to get similar to Lane regardless dude. Every single core player has given the Habs a deal because they all understand that winning is more important and they’re all bought in. I doubt Demi is the guy to break the chain
Robert Louis@robertlouis33
Read a lot of disappointment about Demidov of late; but don’t see a lot of recognition of a very key point: Demidov not lighting the world on fire will allow the Habs to get the last current core piece signed to a contract similar to the rest of the core. #GoHabsGo
English

@brenmidov I think so too but my concern with that is a lot can change from the deadline to the offseason. For example if it’s Knies, does treliving get cold feet about trading a young player like that, or does someone higher up talk him out of it, etc. Just have to wait and see
English

@AnalyticsGuy4 I think there may even be a handshake agreement in place with this mystery trade to get I through as soon as the window opens again. I wouldn’t doubt it because Kent was willing to disclose the info that he did
English

@brenmidov Yeah, what I meant by find his linemates doesn’t mean the answer is internal. I’m certain they will address it this off season
English

@AnalyticsGuy4 I think they traded for a linemate for him and it didn’t go through🤠
English

@brenmidov They just need to find his linemates. Slafkovsky didn’t come into the league playing with Suzuki and Caufield, but when he did was when he started to take off. Less about the player and more about deployment I think
English

@brenmidov I just don’t understand how people watch this team, and come to the conclusion that we need more D that don’t play defence. We need the polar opposite of mailloux
