To leave SM and not just him but the whole of SHINee. But in the end SHINee is still under SM, Minho and Kibum are still under SM so rather than getting scammed, it would have been better to stay at SM until he found a better and proven company for his solo activities.

@JenSingleton19 Unfortunately his stylist’s for this stage doesn’t have an extensive enough portfolio to determine if she references past outfits🥲. I do see this fashion label carries a lot of the visual elements Taemin has built up till now…so I think it would suit him a lot!

Sometimes art is just fun, but I take that shit seriously. Without it, the world would be dead and ugly. Music, motion pictures, poetry, pottery, architecture, theatre, drawings, etc..all of it deserves respect. Without artists, life would be joyless and whimsy would be obsolete.

@babycheese4ever I don’t think every task needs to be an in-house hire. It wouldn’t be a bad thing to outsource to an agency with a solid portfolio for certain things. Potentially this could save time too👀

@Angelsharedepot I agree, this model could be great for his independence. But I also think that’s why the process will take longer this time because he’ll need to slowly build and expand his team based on who he brought over and what gaps they have.

@rizz_taem There’s lack of engagement and appreciation and there is also vapid engagement brought on by a digital parasocial landscape like seen on stantwt. I wish people gave art time and actually sit with it to reflect how it affects their view of the world or view of themselves.

If the new corp doesn’t have the k-pop idol infrastructure, it would be kind of cool if Taemin and his team look into a marketing agency to do fresh and maybe unorthodox promos 👀 it would be cool if he works with boutique design studios for his albums too! All the possibilities!

@Angelsharedepot Yeah, it could be a manager too but I hope he’ll get a real PR team one day. The American PR team seems to be doing things well so that’s hopeful. It’s only been a week (maybe 2?) since the move to Galaxy so it’ll take time. I’m sure Coachella is his biggest priority right now
