Maybe start by asking why your Vice President is flying to Budapest to have a warm chat with Viktor Orban, the man running a Russian influence operation from inside NATO’s borders. And JD Vance calls him a “good friend.” Europe is supposed to line up behind a war that had no plan for day two, no strategy for the Strait of Hormuz, and no consultation with allies beyond Israel. I find it amusing at just how much hatred there is towards France, because when you think about it, they ought to be the allies MAGA pretends they want: 1) they have and fund their own military, including their own nuclear weapons and defence industry/ production. 2) they share intel with the U.S. 3) they don’t have American bases on their soil that are supposedly draining the American taxpayer. 4) they opposed the war in Iraq, which is something that JD Vance - they current sitting Vice President of the United States of America said that ALL Europeans should have done. So what’s the problem?

@larroumecj Americans don’t even complain about shouldering 60% of the burden. Americans are mostly upset at the childish insulting behavior they get from the Europeans. The talking down to us really got us pissed off.

The level of cognitive dissonance among some Americans is staggering. They have no trouble understanding that when China extends loans to African countries in exchange for opening their markets, it is a strategy of domination and subjugation. Yet they are sincerely convinced that the Marshall Plan was some kind of entirely selfless philanthropic endeavor, and that the subsequent dominance of American corporations across European markets is purely coincidental, owed to nothing but the inherent superiority of their products. Incredible.

We Europeans are the ones supporting Ukraine militarily and financially: since Trump, you Americans have essentially disappeared (indeed, you're indirectly supporting Putin).
