Pet peeve: parents saying “no thank you” to correct their child’s behavior. It’s poor grammar and doesn’t make sense. Say “no running” or “no shouting”

missing the baby age where my husband and i could just take him out to a restaurant and he would be ok with sitting in a lap for like 30-45 mins
what r people doing with like 15-20 month olds.... just not going out to sit-down places? must find brewery w/ toddler play area

It is absolutely WILD to me that for a century academics across the world have treated it as settled science or whatever that the Bible is like this hastily edited mishmash of several different written/oral sources.

Reading critical Biblical scholarship is the funniest experience, you'll be reading a book and it'll go on and on about "the Deuteronomistic History" and you'll be like wait am I an idiot, did I miss something?
And the answer is nope they just made it up, it doesn't exist.
