As an adult I have learned that the most shocking and unexpected opponent in life is the person who owned your house before you.

Since we are all talking about our pregnancy journeys and being judged for them, I’d like to take this time to humbly brag I had a vbac w/twins and I am extremely proud of that accomplishment

Pet peeve: parents saying “no thank you” to correct their child’s behavior. It’s poor grammar and doesn’t make sense. Say “no running” or “no shouting”

If you believe in your heart God raised Jesus from the dead, and confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord, you will be saved. But you also need to assent to a mystery made up in the 4th century. Sorry, not sorry!

Theobros: “Womenfolk shouldn’t work outside the home.” Also theobros: “Oh shoot. I can’t pay my bills in this economy. Amendment: Women can work outside the home as long as the jobs are part-time and menial and as long as they don’t out-earn their husbands.” Can we not?

Printing the complete first draft of my book to start proofreading it in paper form. It's called Monotheism, Heresy, and the Bible. God willing, I hope to have it published before the end of the year.

@tallsnail French fries! Peanuts! Literally just finger food with little pieces. That keeps my 20 month old going for as much as a half hour.

It is absolutely WILD to me that for a century academics across the world have treated it as settled science or whatever that the Bible is like this hastily edited mishmash of several different written/oral sources. …and THIS is the quality of argument that convinced them all.

🧵 Aaron wasn't Moses' brother – he was edited into the story later. Let me show you the evidence hiding in plain sight... (1/10)

Reading critical Biblical scholarship is the funniest experience, you'll be reading a book and it'll go on and on about "the Deuteronomistic History" and you'll be like wait am I an idiot, did I miss something? And the answer is nope they just made it up, it doesn't exist.
