My sister has epilepsy, I've seen absent seizure and tonic-clonic seizure my entire life. She CAN be a doctor and she CAN still work in the ER, but only when she's been evaled by her neurologist and CLEARED. Now she's a danger to her patients and could cause someone their life.

Did you fail to hear when she says she just had two absent seizures in one day when she hadn't had one for a long time and she doesn't know why? She was cleared BEFORE, when she didn't have the episodes. Now she has to be evaled again bc she could be a liability. He has a point.

There is such a lack of understanding about seizures/epilepsy in the general public and we should fix that!! Know what to do if someone starts seizing! Have a basic knowledge of epilepsy so you don’t sound LIKE AN IDIOT

sorry I’m still mad about this but any clearances she had were made with her being seizure free for at least 6 months (that’s the law for driving at least) and those clearances are immediately removed once she has another seizure.

What if the doctor intubating you starts seizing mid intubation after you’re already paralyzed and you end up with an extra minute of anoxia to the brain. Is that what happened to you guys over on this corner of pitt twit to make you like this
