Undiagnosed or unmedicated/unmanaged ADHD is saying "Tomorrow will be the day I'll finally get up, do the stuff that needs to be done, and start living my life to its fullest" and you unironically believe it every time until you look up one day and realise you're 30

A frustrating symptom of ADHD is knowing you possess the ability to do almost anything but struggle to harness that ability when required. One day you can do a thing easily then the next you're stuck and can't articulate or understand why. This, friends, is called task paralysis.

Having ADHD means that sometimes people will think you’re being pretentious or overly articulate but in reality its because you forget basic words and have to use whatever synonym your brain could find at the time, which just so happens to be weirdly specific and overly formal.
