Since Star Fox is trending again. I heavily recommend everyone to watch a fan series called A Fox in Space. There's only 2 episodes. But it's a really good watch, especially episode 2. It gives some new explored lore for James McCloud.

The problem I have with this game, is almost every single character is just "Person who punches really really hard" character. The character fantasy is so lacking it hurts.

It would of been such a baller move if capcom used the OG RE2 layout in Requiem as a way to say "The PS1 games are still the canon version." But alas. Remakes took over.

@The_Gorefang @FromSoftCentral Sadly its only hard because its unfair. Literally unless you get lucky and only miss the VERY last attack in his chain. It will stun lock you and WILL kill you without perfect dodging each attack.

@FromSoftCentral Please, play the games on the hardest difficulties before saying something like this. Old games are default on their hardest, set these to their counterparts. Final Nemmy in Inferno is the hardest boss in the series by an INFINITE amount.

@CosmonautMarcus Calling the remakes "Faithful" is very hit or miss. Almost every remake (Aside from 1Remake) has something about them that makes me prefer the original. Lack of Zapping and proper story telling in 2. Cut content and nemesis assassination in 3. Over reliance on parry in 4.

The only reason resident evil is popular enough to get new games every year or two is because not every modern gamer wants to play a ps1 game to get into a series. Getting mad at that fact is a waste of time. You either get well made, faithful remakes or you get no Resident Evil.

@DemonessChip Fair and valid. You can like/love ER. A lot of people just tend to think I hate Elden Ring cause I have this opinion. When in reality I'm just annoyed at an overhyped circle jerk with the only argument being "MY OPEN WORLD"

@msf_actual In that case yes I'd love that sort of RE title. It's kinda how I originally imagine RE3R was gonna be, at least partly. Before all the cut content BS.

My ideal RE is one that adopts Dead Rising's time-based objective system with RE's brand of survival horror gameplay, but scaled to as large of a cityscape as they can manage. Let players prioritize what to do and when, make consequences for those choices, and hide the seams.
