Great pleasure to host my dear friend @Tsahkna in #Yerevan. Our discussions focused on further strengthening 🇦🇲🤝🇪🇪 ties, reflected in signing of MOU on enhanced partnership. We agreed on concrete steps to unlocking new opportunities for cooperation in key areas.

The visit marked yet another milestone in our partnership manifested by the opening of Estonia’s resident Embassy in the heart of Yerevan. We highly appreciate this step which opens a new chapter in 🇦🇲-🇪🇪 partnership btw our two sovereign & democratic countries.

Glad to host my counterpart from Kazakhstan FM Yermek Kosherbayev in #Yerevan this week. We focused on further strengthening 🇦🇲-🇰🇿 strategic partnership, among others discussing initiatives aimed at advancing trade & economic cooperation as well as regional connectivity.

My dear friend @DrSJaishankar, the friendship between 🇦🇲 & 🇮🇳 has always stood strong, including in times of crisis, & I am confident that we will yet witness many more manifestations of this partnership.

34 years have passed since the Armenian village of #Maragha was subjected to a preplanned & brutal massacre on April 10, 1992. The atrocities in Maragha were not an isolated event but a continuation of the systematic violence previously witnessed during the pogroms in Sumgait, Kirovabad, & Baku. Evidence of this violence, recorded by hrw & amnesty, highlights the tragic consequences that follow when systemic hatred & persistent impunity remain unaddressed. Over 50 civilians were killed, including 30 women, while 5,000 residents were forcibly displaced by Azerbaijani forces. 29 women & 9 children were taken hostage during the attack while the fate of 19 individuals remains unknown to this day. Honoring the memory of the victims and the missing requires more than just tribute: it demands a genuine commitment to preventing the recurrence of such crimes. Armenia remains dedicated to this approach, emphasizing that a sustainable peace requires an environment free from the rhetoric of enmity & strong commitment to addressing humanitarian issues & advancing reconciliation.

🇦🇲🤝🇺🇳 #Armenia has been re-elected to the UN Commission on Crime Prevention & Criminal Justice/ @UN_CCPCJ for 2027–2029 at the ECOSOC elections in New York on April 8, reaffirming its commitment to advancing global efforts in crime prevention & criminal justice.

Gravely saddened by hundreds of victims & more than thousand injuries resulted by airstrikes across #Lebanon on April 8. We extend our condolences for families of deceased & wish speedy recovery to all injured, expressing hope for de-escalation & cessation of all hostilities.

📢 On April 9–10, 🇪🇪FM @Tsahkna will pay an official visit to #Armenia. Bilateral talks w/🇦🇲FM @AraratMirzoyan at @MFAofArmenia will focus on advancing cooperation & unlocking new opportunities. Strong friendship btw #Armenia & #Estonia is taking a step forward.

🏛️On April 2, the History Museum of Armenia unveiled “Historical Return: A Medieval Masterpiece from London,” featuring a rare 12th-century carved wooden door panel from 1188. 🚪This remarkable artifact has now been repatriated and will join the museum’s permanent collection.

📢 On April 8-9, 🇰🇿FM Yermek Kosherbayev is paying an official visit to #Armenia.  The agenda of the visit includes the meeting with 🇦🇲FM @AraratMirzoyan at @MFAofArmenia, focused on further strengthing of our strategic partnership.
