@ProspectsUsmnt He brought a last place San Jose team to missing playoffs on a tiebreaker in one year and his transfers he brought in looking good. Will totally revisit this towards the end of the season and see where they are. As a revs fans I’ve seen the high and lows of him.

@ArmstrongFC3 He played no kids last year and still missed the playoffs. He is sold as win now and couldn’t even do that. Talk to me 20 games in and we’ll see if Arena’s strategy is working.

@JackMac I actually agree with the first part as if they just grew up playing soccer instead they may not be as good but the theory goes deeper. It suggests soccer is the main sport people like, therefore the mls grows, more money is dumped into the sport, coaching gets better, etc.

The “America would be the best at soccer if our best athletes played it” theory is a fallacy. You’ll hear it a lot with World Cup coming up. We would certainly be better but we would still be decades behind every other major player in the sport. Plus a lot of our top tier elite athletes (Myles Garrett, LeBron, etc) do not have the build for soccer.

Marcos Dias would require an International Roster Slot. He's a 23-year-old (about to be 24-year-old) that has been playing for #NERevsII since 2022. Each game he is facing primarily 16-20 year-olds. It's not too impressive, though, he does hold the records. #NERevs

@CalebPongratz10 I agree with your stats when it comes to penalties but Steffan makes the best point. Over 50% of the people off the street won’t be able to kick the ball. A pro goalie could genuinely wait until it’s kicked to dive. But a below average soccer player could score on a pro

People generally believe a PK is a 50-50 chance when in reality it’s 75-25 to the kick taker. The goalkeeper has an 11.11% chance on guessing the correct location of the net & take up 33.33% of the net pending which way they move. An average person off the street scores.

@ChrisRM22 Was so funny when both teams were doing it at the end when neither team had any left. As it stands now I don’t have a problem with it. Annoying and I think it’s starting to turn in a free way to complain about a call without getting a tech. Once it’s there they will do something

Whole pacers team has done it at least 15x in this series. It is annoying as fuck. There needs to be a limit to how much the players can do it. Similar to VAR in soccer where if they reference it, it’s an automatic yellow card.

@ChrisRM22 It’s such a funny game, either way to me both teams had a bad season but for one fanbase you sneak out with CL next year and can have hope of this being a one off bad season. The losing team is in helllllll
