"he's past his prime now" calm. goes to the serie a, drags a dead juventus side back into relevance and keeps putting up ridiculous numbers. "hes finished" goes back to a broken united side and finishes 3rd top goalscorer in the prem. backstabbed by the club & the manager, forced out the club and tries something different. goes to saudi and makes the entire league there relevant. because of him some of the biggest names in football went there. genuinely I don't think anyone else in football could've done that. on top of all of that he put portugal on the map for a generation of football fans. some of u need to chill with the disrespect man, don't forget who this guy actually is. he made a lot of our childhoods. not saying u have to love him but some of the hate is pure insecurity

Everyone with a brain has said that Portugal as a team were shocking and offered nothing going forward most of the tournament.

Martinez is one of the worst managers I’ve ever seen. No patterns of play, no urgency, no tactics, nothing. Cancelo & Neto offered nothing that whole tournament but he persisted. He might be somewhat finished but hes still one of the best box attackers & they gave him nothing.

Only thing that matters as an England fan is he came on and did some important pieces of defending for 25 minutes in a crucial part of the game.

Fair play to the lads, I honestly dont think I have any complaints about that. Dealt with everything as it came their way. Bellingham was world class, Gordon ran his socks off, Pickford was immense. The subs Spence, Burn, Stones, Rogers were all class and did their jobs.
