But here is a brutal truth: Sometimes, the best move for your productivity is to take a step back. While building the core of my new Android project, I noticed minor compilation instabilities on my M2 MacBook Air. Little focus-stealers. So, I did something counterintuitive: I wiped my machine and intentionally downgraded to a rock-solid, past version (macOS Ventura). The result? Absolute fluid performance, instant build times, and zero IDE crashes. When you run an indie app studio solo, you don't have an IT department. Your machine is your revenue engine.
