I was listening to Mr Coker on Morayo's show and he said something that stuck with me. He said that in the early 90's after the collapse of the apartheid rule in South Africa, the country became open for business. A lot of black South Africans didn't see the opportunities, they were busy being angry at the country. Foreigners came in and invested, 30 years down the line, the foreigners have grown to own everything and black South Africans are left with regrets hence the Xenophobic attacks. I think the Minister of Education does not seem to understand the real challenge. 😆 He appears more focused on giving the National Senior Secondary Education Commission (NSSEC) additional oversight functions and regulatory powers, while missing the core issue. He should be focused on making senior secondary education free and compulsory. ✍️ That's what parents want, and it's what states would gladly welcome.
