On April 6, 2026, heavy rains caused flooding in the Keshla settlement, flooding streets and some residential areas. Representatives of the AzRCS conducted an on-site assessment of the incident and identified needs.

On April 1, 2026, the President of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society Novruz Aslanov and the leadership team congratulated Vice President Gafar Asgarzadeh on his birthday and wished him success in his future activities.

📆On March 10 and 17, 2026, representatives of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies held meetings at ANAMA and the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

📆On March 16, 2026, a meeting of the AzRCS was held at the International Organization for Migration's office in Baku. Representatives from the AzRCS, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, and the IOM participated in the meeting.

📆As part of the campaign, organized on March 16, 2026, by the Youth Committee of the Red Crescent Society and the Absheron Regional Branch, various food products and necessary aid were distributed to families in need by students of Idrak Lyceum.

On March 13, 2026, a one-day training was held in Astara district jointly organized by the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society and the International Federation. Employees and volunteers from the Lankaran and Astara district branches participated in the training.

On March 13, 2026, a one-day intensive first aid training was held in Saatlı, jointly organized by the Head Office of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society and its Saatlı District Branch for staff members and volunteers.

On March 13, 2026, a social event titled “Sevgi Boxçası” was organized at Yeni Klinika. The event was initiated by the Baku Regional Center and the Nizami District Branch of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society.

On March 11–12, 2026, an orientation seminar on “Preparedness for Effective Response (PER)” was held, jointly organized by the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society (AzRCS) and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC).

In 2008, by the decree of President Ilham Aliyev, March 10 has been celebrated every year in Azerbaijan as the Day of the Red Crescent.

📆On March 6, 2026, the next meeting of the Management Board was held at the Head Office of the AzRCS. In the end, Novruz Aslanov congratulated the employees and volunteers on March 8 - International Women's Day and presented them with gifts and honorary certificates.

On February 5, 2026 the President of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society, Member of the Parliament Novruz Aslanov held a meeting with employees and volunteers of the branches of the Society's Lankaran Regional Center in Lankaran city.

📆On March 3, 2026, the AzRCS and the Turk Kizilay held a joint humanitarian action in Nasimi and Nizami districts within the framework of the “We are at the side of those who are alone” Food Aid program on the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan.

📆Recently, 300 medicines were provided by the "Asfarma" company with the support of the Baku Regional Center to the Surakhani District Branch of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society.

📆On March 1, 2026, on the occasion of World Civil Defense Day, an event on the topic of "Environmental Risk Management for a Sustainable and Stable Future" was held in Gadabay District.

On February 27, 2026, the President of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society Novruz Aslanov and the management team congratulated Aliaga Abbasov, Head of the Humanitarian Assistance Department, on his birthday and wished him success in his future activities.

On February 27, 2026, final year students of various higher education institutions underwent industrial practice at the AzRCS. Various training and activities were carried out for the students in accordance with the program planned by the Society’s Youth Committee.

On February 26, 2026, the leadership and employees of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society visited the monument erected in memory of the victims of the Khojaly genocide and paid tribute to the dear memory of the victims of the tragedy.
