Exciting news! For the past six months I’ve been making a podcast series for the BBC. ‘Killing Victoria’ tells the remarkable stories of seven men who attacked Queen Victoria — one attacker per episode. It’s a social history/true crime mashup with me in the presenting chair!

VICTORIAN LOCKED GRAVES There are some tombs with doors to which only the corpse has the key. Fear of being buried alive led to doors being fitted already locked after burial, the key left in the hand of the corpse inside! #Gothtober
