We hate to say it. But after consultation with lawyer & venue. BFGcon is officially cancelled. We cannot legally hold the event due to Gov Hogan’s announcement.

It makes me sick to my stomach how many women in the geek world, from video games to comics to tabletop, are now coming forward with stories of harassment and predation they've experienced from prominent men in the industry. My heart is with you.

Just an announcement that BFGcon is still scheduled to take place this weekend, with no plans to cancel. Everyone be safe and join us for a weekend getaway with friends before the COVID-19 situation gets worse.

@AdamDork Adam, we are very sad to cancel it as well. But we are trying to mitigate risk and eliminate high-risk activities - the auction involves so many people touching everything. Congress of Gamers does a reverse auction every quarter in Rockville.

I was going to @BFGcon for the auction and they cancelled it this year and no refunds on tickets. I am disappointed and not sure what to do with the games I was trying to sell.
