This is an absolutely appalling tweet from NZTA. Auckland is facing a brutal storm with motorways blocked all over the place and NZTA comms staff won’t be updating twitter post 8pm. Absolutely unacceptable.

Having experienced major emergencies in other cities AkL appears woefully ill equipped to handle it. No SOE, no updates on plans/roads,no lists of drop in centres for stranded, 40k stranded due to late concert cancellation. This is negligence beyond anything I’ve seen #byewayne

Mark Robinson continues to get off scott-free (no pun intended) despite his reign as CEO basically comprising of a long list of bad decisions followed by the poor management and execution of said decisions. Maybe we start there @NZRugby?!
