The roguing season has come and gone and we are back to our normal lives. I owe a HUGE THANK YOU to my amazing wife for everything this summer. cutting corn, supervising workers, safety, & much more! Could not have done it without you! Love Ya! #familytime @corteva @PioneerSeeds

What? 2 busses? COVID-19 changed the way things were done this year. All of a sudden I needed a driver for a second bus. Couldn’t have asked for a better pair to step in and help! A huge thanks to Mark and Becky for everything they did! Thank You! #StepUp @corteva @PioneerSeeds

These young leaders do a lot out in the field. Get others started, teach, help, enforce safety, about everything but drive the bus! They know what to do and get it done, often without me having to say anything. I appreciate all they do! #leadership @PioneerSeeds @corteva

The day often starts out wet & cool, then gets hot & sticky. It’s dirty (often muddy), buggy, difficult terrain, and many miles. This job is about surviving the elements. These guys have become so reliable and done a great job day after day. #determination @PioneerSeeds @corteva

Experience is a great thing to have from year to year. But, hard work is extremely valuable. No one would guess this group has very limited experience. They caught on quick and have been outstanding and reliable team members all season! #WorkHard @PioneerSeeds @corteva

Some don’t think this generation knows how to work. Many of my workers lift at 4:30am before roguing or when we get back. Some have other jobs they go to after working all morning in the fields and are back the next day. They know HOW TO WORK! #GetItDone @PioneerSeeds @corteva

Field work is a great time to meet new people. While almost all of my crew is from DNH, these young men from GC have joined us. It’s been fun for us all to get to know them! #makenewfriends @PioneerSeeds @corteva

Field work is often a family affair. I have multiple siblings who have worked on my crew. I started on my wife’s family crew where her dad was always looking for “more corn”. My 3 kids have all worked with me! #fieldwork #familytime @corteva @PioneerSeeds

PPE (Personal Protective Equipment): Glasses, Gloves, Hi-Vis Hat, and netting. As well as 3-ply masks on the bus and lots of hand sanitizer. Keeping ourselves and those around us safe. Stay Safe while celebrating America! @PioneerSeeds @corteva

I frequently get asked what we do. This is a rogue. We walk through the field and cut them down. One step of many that go into seed corn production. Sometimes the corn wins! @corteva @PioneerSeeds
