I thought the "bike boom" during the pandemic story was kinda old/tired by now. But when I called around to get my bike fixed, it was 3 weeks min. Others looking to buy are finding slim stock. Five months in and the demand is still high. wamu.org/story/20/08/20…

Keeping it real, I manage a lot of inhibitions as an adult learner of bike riding. I fear falling down, I fear looking awkward, here I seem to be afraid of just being alive! Greater than my fear is my belief that my son & daugter need to see mama test herself and WIN, so I ride!
