@Joshua_Ariza From what I've seen over the years, a lot of shots use CGI places so they light the IRL assets in a soft, mostly universal light so that it looks alright in front of the CG set (usually not finalized at time of filming). Call it lack of art direction 🙃

why do movies look surreal now. Not just fantasy stuff. new movies have veneer of staging that movies even 10 years ago never had. something about cameras maybe?

At work the other day I sketched up this idea for a techy 'E' logo during a meeting. I took the concept and played around with it in Illustrator. Now I have the urge to go back through my notebook and pick some sketches to polish up!

In Chinese we have an idiom 画蛇添足 (adding legs to a painting of a snake) which refers to when someone adds unnecessary embellishments to a piece of work that deviate from the original intent, thus ruining it in the process.

To maximize the potential of a @framer pro plan, I am combining my portfolio site with my SSE project. With multiple CMS collections at play, I decided to make my header a mega menu to showcase the site's breadth of content at a glance from any page. (WIP)

@learnframer @framer Love masonry grid! I have an issue where if the grid is set to fill and image width is set to fill, the whole thing collapses when I set height to fit-image... Any workaround that allows for responsive width masonry grid that works with fit-image?

you can create a pinterest-style masonry layout without a single line of code in @framer: 1. select your parent frame → set layout to "grid" 2. on the right panel, toggle "masonry" to "yes" 3. set your images' height to "fit" it's literally that easy...

@framer Sad to see Basic go down to 1 CMS plan. Getting 2 was a nice bump, but I feel like 3 is the bare minimum that should be offered. The data might not back that, but it's hard to build sites with 3 collections when we know it needs the pro plan... so I simply don't.
