If someone jumps in with a “Hello cunts” instead of a normal greeting, I’m not ignoring it—but I’m also not overreacting. First step: set the tone. A quick, calm call-out like “We keep it respectful here. However, welcome, but watch the language” lets them know what’s expected. If they adjust, no problem and just move on. If they double down, then it’s a warning or timeout. Keep pushing it? They’re out. Simple as that. An 18+ community isn’t about being toxic—it’s about mature behaviour. Last night during my stream, an unacceptable incident occurred where a player in a raid repeatedly sang racial slurs, including the N-word, over voice chat. I want to sincerely apologise to everyone who was watching at the time. This behaviour is completely unacceptable and does not reflect the kind of community or environment I want to create around my streams and BatchGaming. While situations like this can unfortunately happen in online games and cannot always be predicted, I took immediate action by reporting the player to @EmbarkStudios and removing the VODs from the stream to ensure the content is no longer available. I have zero tolerance for racism or any form of hate speech in my streams or community. I truly hope appropriate action is taken and that the player receives a permanent ban for their behaviour. Thank you to everyone who supports the stream and helps keep this community respectful and welcoming for all. I appreciate your understanding and continued support.
