For those asking about the controversial Joe Shorrocks sin binning. It appears that a significant human error could have occurred with Shorrocks leaving the field at (63 minutes 20 seconds) and then returning on the field at (71 minutes 32 seconds). If this is proven to another sin bin error, then this error is another episode in a difficult line for the match officials department. Especially, after the RFL confirmed that Eribe Doro spent longer than ten minutes in the sin bin during a recent Championship game with Toulouse Olumpique because the fourth official forgot to start the stopwatch. Can the NRL come and save us now, please!

The general consensus coming from the Super League owners is that there will very little between the Bradford Bulls, Huddersfield Giants and Toulouse Olympique in relation to their predicted IMG scores next month. The Salford Red Devils will be removed after living on the life support of the sport for the last six months. Meaning the final spot in the newly expanded Super League competition of 14 teams will be between the London Broncos, Oldham RLFC, Widnes Vikings and the York Knights. One owner confidently assured me on Friday that if Huddersfield missed out on being in the top 12, the club will remain full-time. This is backed by financial guarantees, even with the reduced central funding for finishing outside the top 12 in the IMG table. With the greatest respect to Oldham and Widnes, I believe the big decision made by Lord Caine and the independent panel will be the choice of London or York to join Bradford and Toulouse in the Super League next season.

Just received a message from a Salford Red Devils player, who confirms that they haven't been paid. He confirms that the feeling is so strong that the playing group will refuse to play against Wigan Warriors tomorrow evening if they have not received their salaries by the morning. The RFL have confirmed that they won't be paying the players wages, so once again, it is over to the owners to deliver on their promise that the players would be paid.
