The US Govt does not “peacefully” invade other countries under the guise of ending authoritarian rule. The colonizers that left Europe did not “peacefully” form a new country. Ending (most) slavery was not “peaceful”. And ending police violence won’t be, either.

Cops can’t build trust when they refuse to acknowledge WHY they were never trusted in the first place, and have made no genuine steps to end their violent reign.

2022 showed us that increased funding for police departments correlates with an increase of people murdered by the police.

The bail set for 2 people in Atlanta that were arrested at a protest last weekend was higher than the bail set for any of the 5 Memphis cops that were charged with murder. And in ATL, 4 people were denied bail. This system thinks cop cars are more important than black men

“If you see something, say something” is a trademarked slogan which was implemented by NY MTA after 9/11/01. The language in this tweet from the City of Richmond uses that slogan to associate people protesting police brutality as domestic terrorists.

The government does not get to define “safe spaces”. They do not get to define when, where, or how we protest. If they truly understood, they’d understand that IT IS THEM THAT WE ARE PROTESTING AGAINST, and these attempts to gaslight us are not resolutions.

They were cops, and cops are a gang.

This is how I found out that the Republican Jewish Coalition has blocked me. That's a joke of an organization and Youngkin is doing a terrible job at being serious at the threat of violence to Jewish people.

We all recognize the historical racism of American policing, and it’s not lost on us that all these police departments are finding it easier to tweet condemnations of the murder of Tyre because it was Black police officers. The actions of those officers were absolutely normal.
