After much thought, my #NewYearResolution2024 is to read 52 of the 78 books on my current TBR list. I can only buy new books if I am on target with that goal, and they must be read that week. Next year it might all fit on one shelf! 😂😂 #BookTwitter

I'm really struggling with health stuff at the moment and it's affecting my sleep badly. I just want to say nothing keeps you company better at 3am than the absolute madness that is Twitter. From cat pics to book recs to random stories that make me laugh, I could never leave!

@Remzsx An organ donor cannot be coerced, therefore some places will quietly list you as incompatible if you share that you are being coerced, without actually testing you. It might be worth looking up the rules/ laws where you are, as a way to reduce the harassment.

I have an MRI scan tomorrow. I suffer from claustrophobia, so whilst it isn't my first, it's never very pleasant. Last time I got through it my imagining Colin Firth as Mr Darcy holding my hand. Which literary character shall I think about tomorrow??

I have a dream where a bunch of local fantasy authors get together to play a DnD campaign, and we ALL write a book inspired by the campaign, told by our characters' POVs and we release them all together with matching cover art. So... who's down?

@elspells13 I took a bag on holiday, where I had nothing to do but read. If I didn't want to read them when I had nothing to do but read, that really helped decide whether I should keep them or not!

@jennieg_author My favourite moment (no spoilers) is when they pan from the two of them having a discussion, to her security discussing them having a discussion. It really tickled me for some reason.
