@GoldenDicePod If people liked the show, great. Its another piece of SW that I wont watch again, which sucks. That was probably the reason for no season 2. Through 12 weeks it didnt even hit 1.5B views. People that liked it didn't view it a second time. The other recent shows were over 4B.

Disney is EXHAUSTING I feel like we haven’t gotten a fully flesh out story in forever or they are always walking things back. Sequels were a mess. No Boba in Mando movie because the show didn’t have great reception. Like the story is there. Tell it. Acolyte didn’t suffer from a terrible premise. If anything the last few episodes really got it going. I just want more Star Wars 😭

@realswtheory Poorly written. Cost far too much money. Didn't get enough views. No amount of money makes up for bad writing and a terrible story. Fans want someone to blame, so blame that terrible writing.

“I think the Jedi are a massive system of unchecked power, posing as a religion, a delusional cult that claims to control the uncontrollable." I loved this character and how he essentially pointed out the Jedi orders flaws and what would be their downfall.

@ScriptTrooper The character wasn't developed enough for it to really matter. Him or Jecki. But their deaths added a little more meaning to their very little screen time.

@realswtheory Anyone with common sense sees how bad that character has been written.

Mae went from "we are sisters, we are one under the stars", to I’ll kill you, to training 16 years to avenge her sister by kiling Jedi masters, to then turning on her master after said 16 years after a long hike to be with her sister and telling him he’s going to turn herself in to Sol and the Jedi, to running away at every chance she could to protect her Sister against her master, to then hugging her sister and saying let’s be together, then turning on her sister once againby knocking her out to dawn her clothes pretend to be her and kill Sol to get back in with her master??? The level of wishy washyness is insane. I just don’t think the writer knew what the character wanted to do.

@realswtheory I didn't like that they didn't show that. How were they just out and about walking the forest while their pals were dying? Would've been nice to see them thrown, because that didn't make any sense.

Sol is probably in on it. Dude was MIA while his colleagues were getting diced

@ThatAldenDiaz This was good because there wasn't a lot of dialog, and they gave weight to characters who didn't have it before by killing them while at the same time strengthening the villian.
