I spoke to another doctor today who reminded me how critically ill I really was 2 months ago - right on the cliff edge. I keep being told this, but my brain still can’t take in how close I came to not being here. It’s utterly terrifying.

My right lung is still not fully inflated, & I've still got months of recovery, but I managed my longest walk since leaving Critical Care: 5.78 miles. The last time I did that was 2 months ago. My RIG feed is also still settling down, but pushing myself was worth it!

A steady and careful walk today after my interventional radiology procedure. The new feeding tube is working well, and there is no NG tube or chest drain to contend with. I have my immunotherapy treatment on Monday, so a couple of days rest before going back to hospital.

RIP Diogo Heartbreaking news coming out of Spain. Diogo Jota has tragically passed away at the age of 28 following a road accident. Just four days ago, he got married. He was also the proud father of three young children. The grassroots community pass on their deepest condolences to Diogos family, friends and teammates.

I’ve made the tough decision for my time at Harrogate Town to come to an end. Thoroughly enjoyed the last 2 and a half years that have been full of nothing but positive memories that will last a lifetime, met some great people during my time at the club and very grateful (1/2)

Survivor guilt can be especially hard to deal with when going through cancer treatments and beyond. It hits you hardest when you hear about fellow patients suffering and/or dying. This is why I try not to compare situations and circumstances because our personal contexts are so complex and very different.
