We quite like our smart new boiler and so far it seems to be working.

The best laid plans... Well our new gas boiler is half installed, but it won't be completed until tomorrow. @Wookieelover101 never feels the cold, but even they have donned a jumper. Thank goodness it's at least not freezing winter, but I have still taken a few warmingmeasures.

Watched The Power of the Dog last night. It’s a perfect film. When you watch Benedict internalise, give himself space, use all of his toolbox (stop that 😏) with elite control, it is an eternal performance. In many ways his performance in The Thing With Feathers is comparable.

Great lunch with the girls, at The Bell Tree. We were celebrating Kirsteen's 60th Birthday.

@Wookieelover101 and I drove up to Dobbie's garden centre, 1st thing. We resisted buying any plants, but enjoyed looking at all of the lovely fishes. Once home, I had to adult and set up an ISA...just to please my Man from the Prue. In the afternoon, we took a walk down to Co-op.

Today: I actually remembered to take a photo, this time. Moose was only with us, for the morning...but as you can see, she made herself very much at home. In the afternoon, @Wookieelover101 and I just had a walk down to the corner Co-op.

@DVDfever I've been in the double position of seeing both shows form ages ago, plus, I think(living in Scotland) ones I saw in England last week!

From Thursday, everything on ITV's afternoon gameshows is a repeat. I thought that was the purpose of ITV Quiz? What's the fking point of it? Still, Helen's a GILF! #tippingpoint #thechase

Today: washing got dry on the line. I managed a slightly longer walk with @Wookieelover101 down to the main Co op, at the other end of Carnoustie.

Today: This morning I was pleased to hear that my brother and sister-in-law had safely returned from their holiday to Australia, flying via Dubai. This afternoon, I walked @Wookieelover101 down into Carnoustie, for the gym. As usual I turned straight back home, shopping enroute.

Happy 7th Birthday to my wonderful grandson, Liam. It was good to share a video call with him, this morning. Pleased to hear that his party went well, yesterday. Hope that today he enjoyed his special lunch out, with his Italian family. Phoned Mum, spoke to my sister who's there.

Now I'm 64: The Pension always arrives on the 20th-even better when the Spring Equinox also falls on this date. Good weather continues. I enjoyed a walk into Carnoustie, to pay in my birthday cheques! As well as the cake, we had curry for tea. Best of all, my grandson sang to me.
