@TooMuchMortons_ I'd rather have salas long term than trade him for a short term fix. Need more good young players on this team.

If Salas continues to destroy AA what if HE’S the deadline acquisition and gets called up. Fermin still has minor league options. This organization under Preller has never been shy about promoting young players. Am I on crack or am I cooking here.

@AvgJoe08 They also need to figure out leadoff. Laureano has been terrible since moving up. But winning without your top 4 hitters was never sustainable.

@AvgJoe08 Tatis needs to figure out launch (he's hitting the ball hard so feels close which is why I'm so frustrated), Merrill needs to figure out the strike zone (same as early last year), and Manny needs warmer weather (same as every year).

Padres have lost 4 in a row and 5 of 6. The bottom of the lineup getting lucky was nice for a couple weeks, but the "stars" playing like complete ass was always going to come back to bite them in the ass.
